It’s amazing how fast it goes! I know I’ve said that a dozen or more times, but I am still amazed! How can this delightful creature crawling all through my house, climbing up on everything be my sweet baby girl? You were born just yesterday. What happened to the tiny (okay, so 10 lbs. is not so tiny) little girl we brought home from the hospital? I blinked and suddenly you are a crawling, jabbering toddler! And while I delight in the little person you are becoming, every new skill and adventure causes my mother’s heart to break just a little.
Your favorite word is dada; you love to roam through the house calling for him. You melt his heart in a way only his baby girl could. You are absolutely thrilled with anything your brother (baba) does and squeal with approval! How amazing it is to watch you two together. And mama, well, mama is not allowed out of sight for long. After every little adventure, you come to find me. Clapping your chubby little hands when we finally find each other.
You’ve created a sign for “up” whenever you want to cuddle or just be held. Who could resist? My favorite part of our day is tucking you in at night snug as a bug in a rug, smelling your sweet baby smell and rubbing your tiny nose (bitty-boo). You pop in your fingers with a smile and off to dreamland you go.
You turn heads everywhere we go . . . captivating all around you with your gorgeous blue eyes, beautiful smile and joyful personality. You are the sunshine of our family!
Our sweet, adorable little girl!

This is so sweet... I love the way a little girl grabs and holds her daddy's heart...
That was beautiful, Janel. I love the description of how she loves on her big brother....there is something so sweet and precious about the love you see between siblings as they follow each other around and look out for each other.
